AmeriCorps
Americorps is a National Service program for adults and is sometimes referred to as the "domestic Peace Corps." AmeriCorp members help solve community problems related to education, public safety, the environment, human needs, and homeland security by serving at non-profit and faith-based organizations throughout the United States. AccessAbility is part of collaborative partnership of five organizations called Work In Progress (WIP) Americorps Program that is receiving federal grant funding to support this program.
