Job Development/Job Placement
Job Coaching
This service emphasizes a "train and place" approach providing direct training to the employee to learn the necessary skills, behaviors and responsibilities for retaining employment. The job coach provides on-site job analysis, consultation, and work site recommendations as necessary. They work with the employee and employer to develop the best possible working relationship for both parties. This service is available at individual employment sites and for work team sites. A written report is completed at the end of the training.
Following the completion of job coaching services, on-going support services will continue to be provided by a case manager from AccessAbility for as long as the employer and program participant desire.
Job Development and Placement
Services in this area include the development of a vocational plan, assistance with job search and retention skills, individualized job development, identify or develop job opportunities, and provide monthly progress reports.
