Personalized for you

Employment Planning Services is an individualized service designed to assist a person seeking employment to learn about employment opportunities within the community as they explore and identify their work interests and skills to make informed decisions.

An individual support plan is developed with the person and their support team, identifying desired outcomes. This is accomplished through activities such as paid work trials, job seeking skills training, job shadowing, job try-out, and on the job evaluations. The evaluation will determine an individual's vocational abilities, skills, work behaviors, and interests. Other areas assessed include interpersonal skills, attendance and work performance.

Recommendations will be made at the end of the Employment Planning Service that may include a goal of competitive employment.
