The Minnesota Vikings team is a big deal at AccessAbility (AAI). During the NFL season, you can always find a sea of purple everywhere in our building, especially on Fridays. We even joined in on the SKOL fun by creating a video during the exciting 2017 season! So, when we were given the opportunity to take a group to visit the 2018 Verizon Vikings Training Camp, it was super exciting for the entire organization!
On August 16, 2018, a group of die-hard fans, consisting of Evening Stars program participants, Special Olympics athletes, AAI staff members, and Mike Krebsbach, AccessAbility’s President & CEO, headed out on a fieldtrip to the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center in Eagan. The lucky individuals were all smiles, and as evident from the pictures and numerous personal accounts, they all had a blast meeting the players, getting autographs, and discovering the amazing array of brand new amenities at the training center.
Thanks to Vikings Community Relations staff for making it possible for AccessAbility’s program participants and staff to have an awesome experience. Also, thanks to the players and everyone at the Verizon Vikings Training Camp for their great hospitality! The fieldtrip experience will be remembered for a long time to come!
“Vikings-love” at AccessAbility and cheering the team on will definitely take on a whole new meaning this NFL season and beyond.
Go Vikes! SKOL!
