Thanks to Tennant Foundation for their in-kind donation of an upright vacuum and a floor scrubber. The donated equipment will be used by individuals with disabilities, in DTH programs, who work on our janitorial crews. Director of Community Employment (CE), Chris Jordan, and Jessica Fincher, CE Supervisor, were present to receive the items on December 14. They were also given a quick rundown on how to use and maintain the equipment. This donation is very timely as 3 new sites were added to AccessAbility’s CE portfolio in 2018.
We are grateful for their generous donation and for the opportunity to help further Tennant’s vision of creating a cleaner, safer, healthier world. AccessAbility’s work crews are indeed doing their part every day to create cleaner, safer, and healthier spaces in our community through the work they do.
AccessAbility partners and collaborates with businesses to provide employment opportunities on site, at our facilities, along with opportunities for work teams and individuals to work at businesses in the local community.
To support our community employment services through job opportunities for our work crews, to hire individuals we serve, or to provide in-kind or cash donations, please contact our CE Department at 612-331-5958 or email@example.com.
